An eating disorder is a compulsion to eat, or avoid eating, that negatively affects both one’s physical and mental health. Eating disorders are all encompassing. They affect every part of the person’s life. Eating disorders appear when a person experience server disturbances in her eating behaviors. For example,she, a person who has eating disorders, extremely reduces food intake or they are worried too much about body weight or shape.
The victims of eating disorders are obsessed with food and fear of getting fat. Eating disorders are considered serious mental illnesses. Eating disorders cause problems to people's health and cost a lot to society. Not only do many people die from eating disorders, but also, many of them need to spend much money for their health care service. People who have eating disorders are suffering from many other physical health complications, such as heart conditions or kidney failure, which can lead to death.
